The 12 hour journey-Part 1

                     

This story is all about the rider Mr.Boots and pillion Ms. Dora with their bike Thor, Bajaj Dominor 400cc.

It was fine Saturday morning when Dora and Boots woke up before sunrise and realized that it has been raining the previous night. The journey started at 6:30 am and the climate was amazing. How would it be to travel in a splendid bike named Thor with a perfect drizzling climate! Incredible isn't! The wind was whooshing when Thor entered Chennai-Bangalore highways. Oops! I forgot to introduce Thor. He is a Vine Black soul with the power of 400cc. He has been nicknamed as Thor while Bajaj named him as Dominor. He is quite an amazing fellow peeps. Now let us get into the whooshing winds. Dora noticed Boots's head which moved left and right and that made her think "He is dancing! He is enjoying the ride". Nah it was because of the crosswind in highways that made him do like that. Dora was literally enjoying the greenish roads, paddy fields in Kanchipuram. Just imagine the scenario! there was a small temple with a beautiful entrance tower(known as Gopuram in Tamil) which was surrounded by parrot green colored paddy fields and a bunch of coconut trees. There stood a small scarecrow on which a crow was actually sitting! lol, one pure white-colored bird was fluttering around the field. The combination of green and white was amazing. Farther behind the temple, there stood majestic mountains which were covered by passing clouds. This scenario was accompanied by light showers. It was incredible. Service roads were running parallel to the highways which consisted of few motels to dine in. The entire highways trip was beautiful due to the lush green surroundings with rain showers.

 

Boots' friend was to join the trip, so Dora and Boots were waiting. The destination was in Ranipet, a place near the Vellore district. Boots' friend is alike him who adore bikes. He owns Royal Enfield Himalayan 400cc made for no roads. Boots and his friend exchanged the bikes and Dora was eventually comparing the comfortability of the pillion seat of the former and latter while Boots was telling about the vibration felt in both the bikes. He concluded that Thor has more vibration than Himalayan. They passed through beautiful tree tunneled roads with heavy showers. The feel was amazing! Boots and Dora noticed the signboard stating"WAY TO KANCHANAGIRI".Woah they are likely to hit the destination very few kilometers away. Though the roads were not broad enough, it was surrounded by greens, paddy fields, few village houses. Dora soon realized that there was a temperature drop! Boots shouted, "We are gonna climb the hills".
