Madurai to Theni: A Naturistic Journey
"Cuckoo" repeated the alarm! It was 3:00 AM and time to get ready for an all-new day! Mr.Boots was busy mounting the luggage over the carrier while Dora was de-tangling the cycle ropes to tie the luggage firmly. They started the journey before dawn and Dora was feeling drowsy. "why don't bikes have the sleeping facility for pillions" said Dora. "ooh, what about riders?" asked Boots. "You guys are born to ride, isn't it? Do it!" answered Dora pointing out the Instagram caption of Boots. The weather was so cold which made Dora not to take her hands out of pockets. Slowly the sun gave a sign " Hey guys, I am in!".
The sky was orange mixed with pink in color. On the way, there was a pond with shrubs and grasses around it. The orange-pink mixture of sky got reflected in the water and it was beautiful! It was like a painting. Mr.Boots threw a pebble into the water and the spiral waves were adorable! Breezy weather and a painted sky were splendid. Mr.Boots captured pictures of the poses thrown by nature, while Dora clicked a few pictures of him. Since they started their journey early, their tummies were demanding for food. Boots halted the bike in a shop amidst coconut groove, wherein they had much required hot tea. On viewing all the stories of Mr.Boots on Instagram, his colleague invited us to his house in Theni. His garden was extremely beautiful! Plantain trees were strictly adhering to the rules of one-armed distance! The coconut trees were ready to attack mode, "Whoever visits us with an axe, we will release a Tender coconut from our tree as a token of gift!", guava, lemon, gooseberry trees were rocking! As Dora is short, she easily passed via the crooked tree branches, blocking the path. Mr.Boots is a tall and sturdy man who found these paths are literally meant for Dora kind of people. His friend managed to get a few freshly plucked gooseberry and Dora grabbed them! " Berry breakfast," said Dora. Mr.Boots was video recording the garden. Soon they came across a deeeeeeeeep well. Mr.Boots saw the depth while Dora was scared. The circumference of the well wasn't raised and it is more dangerous! After the farewell, the trippers started their journey!
The road was smooth and narrow! The climate was perfect- neither sunny nor rainy. The breeze was chill with a pinch of earth smell. Either side of roads was covered with thick, dense plantain trees. Mountains were floating in the mist somewhere far away from the retinas of trippers. The thick gang of plantain trees giggles when wind passes by. Soon these roads turned alike to goa roads surrounded by coconut and palm trees. Dora was singing the male part of a song while Mr.Boots was singing the female part! They were imitating the voice changers and yeah! They enjoyed this road trip perfectly.
So what is the destination?! It is the hidden treasure known as high wavy mountains in the British period! Stay tuned for a beautiful destination! Nature never fails! Megamalai is an example of that!
